As soon as I began photography in 2003, I became enamored with the possibilities of bending reality. Expressions is the culmination of those first years of working on this concept. Through the use of in-camera multiple exposures, panning during long exposures, lens filters, and other techniques, each of these images represented the pinnacle of my technique. Gardens were a particular area of emphasis, as the wide variety of bold colors often caught my eye as inspiration. Water also held a close place to my heart, often using colored lights and a variety of exposure times to manipulate its appearance.
