Nature : The subject that started my photographic career was obviously the landscape. My first creations were idealized, almost romanticized, through the use of color filtration, highly-saturated films, polarizing filters and dramatic lighting. As I have progressed, I have begun to emulate the exact lighting conditions that were available in the original scene, allowing the original scene itself to show the beauty of nature without special effects.

Floral : As I began photography, one of my favorite subjects to photograph was flowers. I would spend long hours at the local botanical gardens and over time I became quite good at capturing the essence of a flower, first on film, and now with digital capture.

Expressions : The Expressions collection was a series that began in 2004 and has all but ended. In this series, I utilized in-camera multiple exposures, extended shutters, flash, and various filters to create idealized versions of my subjects. This collection was highly influenced by the Abstract Expressionist movement, as well as the Impressionist movement.
